It turns out that even if the comment says that the driver can load fine, it's not really the case and no codecs are detected. Specifically for -EPROBE_DEFER, always fail the probe. This fixes a regression when HDA-intel is loaded before i915. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
